Artemide is participating in 3daysofdesign with two talks that highlight shared journeys of research, innovation, and common values underpinning its projects with Giulia Foscari and BIG. At the Designmuseum in Copenhagen, the first talk with Giulia Foscari focuses on sustainability: the UNA / UNLESS project transforms environmental data into a luminous object, giving shape to Criosfera, a product inspired by ice cores—symbols of climate change. More than just a lamp, it’s a call to action and a reminder of our responsibility to protect the planet.
The second event takes place at BIG’s headquarters, where the “Materialism” program hosts a talk with Carlotta de Bevilacqua and Jakob Lange. Together, they reflect on the decade-long collaboration between Artemide and the Danish studio, which has produced numerous lighting solutions that merge technological excellence with visionary design.
“Materialism” is also an exhibition that explores seven fundamental materials through objects, furnishings, and prototypes. It runs in parallel with Domus’ editorial project, led by Bjarke Ingels throughout 2025. Each piece corresponds to one of the first seven issues of the magazine, each dedicated to a different material. Artemide takes center stage in the “glass” theme with its custom Stellar Nebula chandelier, which illuminates the ground floor of BIG’s Copenhagen headquarters.
During the event, Artemide’s showroom will showcase new collections born from its dialogue with Giulia Foscari, BIG, and other prominent international architecture studios.
